The Revenue Council has sent a proposal for recruitment to about 1364 vacant posts of Lekhpalas to the government. After getting the consent of the government, proceedings related to Lekhpal recruitment can start. Before allowing the government to decide, Lekhpal Ki Bharti will be at the level of Revenue Council, and District Magistrate as before or UP Subordinate Services Selection Commission will do. An official of the government said that till June, around 1364 posts of account holders are getting vacant. Apart from this, about 1000 posts are getting vacant due to the proposed promotion Lekhpalo to the position Revenue Inspector. In this way, it aims to recruit on the vacancy of about 1364 posts
Revenue Council has sent a proposal for recruitment to vacant posts to the government. The official said that the Pizhali government had appointed the recruitment of revenue accountants, where the responsibility of Revenue Council and District Magistrates was hand over to the Subordinate Services Selection Commission.
